Oak Park Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1994 by Dr. Gena Broussard and Dr. Thomas Cole. Both doctors are 1988 graduates of the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

We are open 6 days a week, with late hours available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Early morning drop-offs are available as early as 7 A.M. on weekdays and 8 A.M. on Saturdays. We can provide house calls on a limited basis and our doctors are often available after hours by pager.

Drs. Broussard and Cole are active members of the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, and Santa Barbara-Ventura Veterinary Medical Association.  We are a privately owned full-service hospital providing medical care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents. As a general practice and primary care facility, we provide services in most areas of veterinary medicine including routine examinations, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, flea control, parasitology, internal medicine, intensive/critical care, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, dental care, orthopedics, and surgery. Additionally, we also utilize the expertise of local board-certified specialists in surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, internal medicine, neurology, radiology/ultrasound, nuclear medicine, oncology, and exotic animal medicine. By use of our services and, when needed, collaboration with these specialists, we can help pets with both simple and complicated medical problems.
